NERF remains king in the market of toy weapons the fire soft projectiles. Their latest toys are hitting the market, and among them is the NERF Rebelle Trupoint. This latest entry in the Rebelle line, which is focused on young females, also makes use of NERF's new Accustrike technology. In this quick overview, you can learn all about the features of this new toy weapon.

Unlike some other toy weapons that focus on rapid fire of multiple rounds, the NERF Rebelle Trupoint focuses on single fire. Each of the six Accustrike darts included with the toy can be loaded and fired one at a time with a plunger rod and trigger system. The Accustrike darts are different from the usual NERF suction darts because of the corkscrew design of each tip, which is put in place to make the darts more aerodynamic and fly more accurately when they are shot.

If the Accustrike darts aren't enough for those who want accuracy from the weapon, it also features a handy red light. When activated, the light can be used to target objects in a similar as a laser sight, giving users a clear spot to aim. The red light is activated by pressing a trigger located under the firing trigger. Much like the N-Strike Elite Firestrike, which is similar to the Trupoint in design, it will require two AAA batteries to use the light.

Two extra darts can be stored under the weapons light for easy access. While the weapon isn't exactly the best in terms of firing rate or ammo storage, it should come in handy during those moments when a quick shot is needed. The weapon retails for $9.99, which is pretty good for what it can do.

Due to its low price, increased dart accuracy, and targeting light, the Rebelle Trupoint makes an excellent side arm during a NERF fight. Anyone who feels skilled enough can even use it as a main blaster.
